Traditions Health’s Diane Parker receives Distinguished Career Achievement Award

Traditions Health’s Diane Parker was presented with the 2020 Hospice & Palliative Nurses Association Distinguished Career Achievement Award at the HPNA’s Annual Joint Assembly in Denver, CO. This HPNA award honors an individual who has made a major contribution in one or more of the areas of research and development, career path development, and education in palliative nursing.

Diane Parker, MSN, RN, CHPN, CHPPN, serves as Vice President of Operations for the southeast region for Traditions Health, formerly Palladium Hospice and Palliative Care where she served as CEO. Mrs. Parker has served in a nurse executive role in hospice and palliative care since 2007. She has over 40 years of nursing experience with extensive executive leadership and professional development. Mrs. Parker responded to receiving this prestigious award, “I am so honored to receive this recognition. Having been a nurse for 43 years, it wasn’t until I came to hospice in 2007 that my entire career trajectory changed. The advocacy work for our underserved and vulnerable patients and families has been the reward! We still have more work to be accomplished in moving hospice and palliative care forward and I am honored to be a part of this change.”
